HAPPY THANKSGIVING - I HAVE SO MANY BLESSINGS. ESPECIALLY MY FAMILY. :)

We had a wonderful dinner at Brad's on Sunday with the entire family- Heidi cooked the best turkey - yum. Lindy's pies were so good and Tim n' Christine's delicious mashed potatoes.
On Thursday we had a delicious meal with Rob, Rachael, JJ, Allison and Gregory at Belgian Waffle and pumpkin pie, of course.
My neighbors gave me a plate of their dinner for later - what a great Turkey Day!!!
Even though I am a grown up grandma - I just love Minnie Mouse. I just feel happy when I see her.

On Facebook today, something really got my dander up. A friend sent a video of concert titled "In God we Still Trust". It had a lot of shots about 911 and God's name on our money etc. It was beautiful. When performed, the crowd gave a standing ovation. Of course they did - it was very inspiring. The part that upset me is that radio stations are banning it because it's not politically correct. GRRRR --- So it's not politicallycorrect to believe in God these days -Oh Brother!! I feel very strongly that the more they take God out of the scenario, the more of a disaster we will have. Which makes me wonder - just who would be the author of such slander shall we say - why Satan, of course. So I say -
Get thee behind me Satan..... and let God stand as a presence in our country and in our lives.

Leaves - nature at it's best.

I love this picture. When I look at this I am amazed at the beauty of autumn and nature. I also find it intriguing to see the hope factor in the green leaf.

I just love Halloween. Seeing all the kids in their costumes is so exciting. Here is Bob's family - part as Mario game and 2 cute ballerinas.
